An older lady around 55 years of age and a guy 10 years younger come to the shop together today. After they had spent close to 30 mins at the jewellery cabinets. She then beckons and calls out rudely to me to let her see some piece of jewellery.
Usually I am all smiles and very happy to serve but there was something about their vibe. Wasn't inviting and not too positive.
The first thing they did well, she did, was force him to buy a silver ring. The lost bloke decided to place the chosen ring on a finger he was comfy with but she kept telling him to put it on his ring finger. Naturally I said, O his wedding band is there! She went on to murmur many times that it is going to come off soon anyway. She then decided to start calling him her husband. All this time I knew he wasn't because of his uneasy body language, nervous gestures and random shhhusshing.
After more interaction and observation I realized she was the other woman. He has obviously promised to leave his wife for her.
She then proceeds to ask me to recommend a semi-precious stone that will calm her down and center her energy. I didn't hear her. I pointed out to the amethyst immediately and asked her to choose a ring immediately. I then read the properties of an amethyst to her.
Like that was not enough, she pulled out 2 tumble stones. A jade and a clear quartz. Both of which were dirty and murky. She complained that it doesn't work. It is not bringing her the love and luck she wants. Naturally I told her to cleanse those stones because they are dense with negativity and asked her to learn meditation etc.
As soon as she left the store, I looked at my manager and yelped. She wonders where her luck is when she is taking another woman's husband?! Has she heard of karma? Why do these cows only think of themselves?
Then I stopped myself because I realised that this woman's bossiness and over bearing nature was going to drive him right back into his wife's loving arms and she will wind up alone again. Only a matter of time.
This reminds of something my friend's mum said once. There is no place in heaven for a woman who steals another woman's man.
